About
Hi, I’m Gerry Rose, a teacher and catechist.
The Catholic Church, the Bride of Christ, instituted by Jesus on earth is spotless but its members on earth are sinners on a pilgrimage back to their homeland.
This Site aims to explore the treasure trove of our faith and delve into its mysteries.
As we recite in the Creed, the Catholic Church is one, holy, Catholic and apostolic, we aim in this Blog to present something of the glory of the Church in the midst of many criticisms and persecutions.
As part of the Church militant are involved in a battle for souls thankfully relying on the Lord’s victory, power and grace.
Instead of criticising leaders, the clergy and religious I agree with Marino Restrepo that we should be on our knees praying for them instead.
“The power of prayer is tremendous” as St Therese said and she is a Doctor of the Church, so let us get on our knees and pray, pray, pray as the Blessed Mother tells us to do in all her apparitions! May this Site exhort us to pray more and give thanks for our faith.
“He does much in the sight of God who does his best, be it ever so little” (St Peter of Alcantara)
